Went to the premiere of the Bones Brigade documentary in London last night, certainly stoked up some memories of that time. I took the image above at the first UK Bones Brigade tour in 1988, it was an awesome demo.
The film itself was pretty good, a little sentimental at times, but some great footage and some brilliant stories and sub plots. I especially liked a story about George Harrison’s son Dhani inviting them round for dinner. I even spotted the Gonz at the show.
What struck me the most was actually how good they were (indeed still are), skateboarding has developed enormously since that time but their abilities still hold up.
