Not much to say about this stunning film from Terje Sorgjerd, it’s just simply beautiful.

I saw the Vans Off The Wall TV website a while back and meant to post something back then but completely forgot.

I think a post has been worth the wait however, as I just watched this episode from “Grosso’s Love Letters to Skateboarding” with Ben Shroeder.

Been a while since I last blogged, largely due to being on holiday and having a broken laptop, although that’s a whole other story in itself.

Stoked to see some of these skaters still shredding it up, looks like I might still have time to learn McTwists after all.

No great surprises in this video of how a skateboard is made but interesting none the less.

Garillaz Plastic Beach Tour

Saw the Gorillaz at the O2 Arena last night, what a concert; Bobby Womack, De La Soul, Neneh Cherry, Little Dragon, Mark E. Smith, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Syrian National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music as well as Mick Jones, Paul Simenon and, of course, Damon Albarn. What a line up, and what an brilliant gig.

Hot on the heels of the last Radiohead concert video comes a free download of a concert in Prague. This time it’s a full gig filmed by fans in the audience with audio masters provided by the band themselves.

I'm New Here album cover

RAD, not something I was expecting to see but there’s a new Gil Scott-Heron album on the way, it’s entitled I’m New Here out on the 8th of February on XL Recordings.

As far as I was aware he’s been in and out of prison for the last decade or so so I’m glad he’s got it together to release some new material.

Just read this article The 101 Best Music Videos of the Decade which has the videos for some great work. No surprise there’s a bag full of Michel Gondry videos, including the winning entry ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’ for the White Stripes, although I was quite surprised that the video for Around the World by Daft Park doesn’t make the list.

So rare I even see music videos these days apart from on YouTube perhaps, was just trying to remember when I last saw a music video on the TV and I honestly cannot remember. Oh no, hang on, it was a clip of a Katherine Jenkins video which is a cover of some shite Evanescence song and it was a total load of bollocks, the song and the video.

I can’t even believe I just made the effort to find it on YouTube.
